Natural Treatment For Panic Attacks And Anxiety

Healing Anxiety and Depression - Natural Method or Scientific Approach?

There is no magic pill treatment for Anxiety or Panic Attacks. There are a large number of good solutions out there that can help you coping and get rid of panic attacks but there is no push button solution to it. The good news is that there are solutions that have worked for everybody and the success rate with such solutions is quite high. Medical science has been able to make a good deal of coverage into this problem and people have reported really good results with it.

One of the more successful methods involves the use of alternative or herbal treatments in conjunction with scientific CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy). Click this link to read and understand more about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Natural Medicine for healing anxiety and depression.

One of the most popular alternative treatments uses SJW or St. John's Wort. It has the same effect to prescription drugs that work on the biochemical processes of the human body to treat anxiety and depression – but without side effects, developed tolerance, and withdrawal symptoms.

St John's wort is today most widely known as a herbal treatment for depression. In some countries, such as Germany, it is commonly prescribed for mild depression, especially in children, adolescents, and where cost is a concern.[7] Standardized extracts are generally available over the counter – however, in some countries (such as Ireland) a prescription is required. Extracts are usually in tablet or capsule form, and also in teabags and tinctures.

SJW stimulates your brain neurotransmitters (e.g., Norepinephrine, Serotonin) into activity. This is the same reaction you would get from antidepressants like Prozac.

However, do NOT use SJW together with antidepressants. Prozac, for instance, raises Serotonin brain levels, the same as SJW. Excess Serotonin has been known to lead to Hyper Serotonin Syndrome, symptoms of which include fever, agitation, and confusion.

The British Medical Journal has recommended that the results of the randomized controlled trials of St John's Wort should be interpreted with caution, as many did not use standardised preparations or homogenous populations, and doses of antidepressants varied.

The Amino Acid 5-Hydroxy Tryptophan is another natural medication that you should not be combined with prescription antidepressants for the same reason.
